How we Started

The ApogeeCare Story

ApogeeCare was founded by passionate physicians who experienced firsthand how the current system falls short for patients and the people who care for them. Our team believes that everyone deserves care that is compassionate, coordinated, and specific to their needs. To achieve this goal, hospitals and emergency departments need real solutions that address modern challenges. ApogeeCare bridges this gap.

‍Kevin Biese is an Emergency Medicine doctor who has spent his career at the forefront of care innovation. His leadership has shaped national standards for delivering better emergency care to older adults across the nation. Daniel Arteaga is a Geriatric Medicine doctor with deep expertise in early-stage healthcare ventures. Daniel brings a dual lens of clinical practice and business strategy to building sustainable healthcare solutions.

Together, Kevin and Daniel founded ApogeeCare with a shared vision: to redesign emergency care so it works better for everyone. Their inspiration comes from years of caring for patients and families at moments of crisis and seeing the opportunity for a more humane and effective approach to patient care.
