ApogeeCare is expanding into Texas with a planned launch at Houston Methodist Hospital Emergency Department later this year. This milestone marks an important step in ApogeeCare's continued growth and commitment to supporting health systems in delivering innovative, patient-centered care for older adults.

"Houston Methodist is a leading health system with a strong commitment to advancing care for older adults," said Kevin Biese, MD, co-founder of ApogeeCare. "We are excited to partner with their teams to bring additional support and resources to clinicians caring for patients in the emergency department."

Through this expansion, ApogeeCare will bring its care model to Houston Methodist Hospital, providing emergency department teams with access to specialized support designed to help address the complex needs of older adults. Following the initial launch, ApogeeCare plans to expand across the broader Houston Methodist health system.

"Houston Methodist is committed to finding innovative approaches that improve care quality and efficiency," said Sara Loewy, vice president of virtual care at Houston Methodist. "We're excited to see how this collaboration can bring specialized geriatric expertise to patients who may benefit from additional support and care coordination."

As ApogeeCare continues to grow, the company is expanding its team to support operations in Houston and future markets. These new opportunities will help strengthen ApogeeCare's ability to partner with health systems and expand access to specialized care for older adults nationwide.
